Continental Loss Adjusters was formed by the present Chairman & CEO, Chief Theophilus Olatunji Idowu (FILA, IILA, FIFAA) as an unlimited liability Company in 1985. With continued growth and increase in market share, the firm was incorporated in 1997 as a limited liability company.
Continental Loss Adjusters is a multi-line adjusting firm which represents both national and International insurance companies as well as loss adjusting entities around the world.
Continental Loss Adjusters has been a corporate member of the Institute of Loss Adjusters of Nigeria since 1987, and is a Full Member of the International Institute of Loss Adjusters Incorporated in
Lombard, Illinois. Continental Loss Adjusters is licensed by the National Insurance Commission.
We are recognized in the industry for our technical expertise, extensive product knowledge, the detail, accuracy and timeliness of our reports, and above all, our professional integrity.

Present Focus
Continental Loss Adjusters remains at the cutting edge of loss adjusting worldwide. Our present focus is to grow and develop Oil and Energy risk investigations and adjustment through strategic alliances with our international associates. This is prompted by the federal legislative act of 2005, which requires local content of about 40% by the year 2007, in the oil and energy sector.
